 Effective Strategies for Managing Stress and Anxiety in Our Busy Life

I would like to start from a quote that says -’ You don't have to control your thoughts, you just have to stop letting them control you” -Dan Millman.

From this quote we can say that it's up to us how we gonna handle the stresses that are constantly coming in our day-to-day life . I would like to present this topic from my point of view .

Stress and anxiety can have various underlying causes, including excessive workload ,financial pressures ,relationship issues , major life changes or traumatic events. In this stage of life where we am in , we all have to face new problems in everyday life, and have to handle new situations everyday. The fact is that these stresses rea affect us horribly by hampering our daily life, studies, relationships with our close ones etc . To manage everything properly we need to balance everything and follow some tips.





First of all, we need to prioritize our daily works and responsibilities. The works which are important we need to make list of them and have to finish them in time . So that later on we don't have to feel pressured about that. This will help ourselves in  keeping  away from workload and stress.To keep our mind Joly and cheerful we can talk to our close one's. We can spend time with them and share our problems. Our parents can be big support system in that case . They can help us in every situation if we share our problems with them. Our family ,friends can support us and show us right path. Also meditation and physical exercises helps a lot in removing stress and anxiety . We can also practice deep breathing exercise when we are in stressful situation. Our sleep schedule have big effect on removing stress and anxiety. So maintenance of proper sleep schedule is mandatory . We can stay socially connected to people and make good relation with our surrounding's rather than using social media. Social media is also a big reason nowadays behind hampering our mental peace and making us unhappy. So limited use of social media is must nowdays.




Now days people are getting aware about mental health awareness. In colleges and universities many seminars on mental health are  being organizing for helping the students. They can take help from the counseling unit of university if they are going through stress and anxiety problems. Still people at certain age (mostly from 18-22) are facing these stress and anxiety issues . I have personally seen  one of  my close friend to going through such situation. and the important thing which i have leant from this case is these problems can keep increasing if we don't take this as serious issue . Identifying the main cause and work properly on solving the stress is only solution for overcoming this problem. We have to normalize the thing is -" Its okay to take help when you cant help yourself ."


Lastly I think it's up to us how we want to make our life easier in our own way . We can control our own life and  keep us away from stress and painful situations by taking smart decisions .Also letting go the things which we can't control can help us to stay away from stress .The quote which inspired me to let go stress is - Stress is like a glass of water. If you hold it for a minute, it's not a problem. If you hold it for an hour, you'll have an ache in your arm. If you hold it for a day, your arm will feel numb and paralyzed. The weight of the glass doesn't change, but the longer you hold it, the heavier it becomes. So, put the glass down."


So in the world where we have to cope with many things ,we have to be tricky and smart to all the decisions and also must be very careful. Stress and anxiety can cause us depression and more than worse . So we can follow the tricks and suggestions which I have discussed in the whole blog . I hope this will surely help someone who is going through stress and anxiety.
